Pacific Aerospace & Electronics Announces Long Term
European Contracts

WENATCHEE, Wash., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCTH - news), announced
today that the Company's European Aerospace Group recently secured two long term supplier contracts with Aermacchi of Italy
to manufacture formed titanium sheet components and assemblies.

The contracts were placed with Aeromet International plc, a subsidiary of Pacific Aerospace & Electronics located in the U.K.,
and are valued at approximately $40 million. One contract (ten years) is for the manufacture of major components for
Aermacchi's Jet Engine Nacelle assemblies, mainly for Airbus engines. The other single source contract (life of program) is for
the manufacture of components for the Eurofighter Aft Engine Cowl Doors. All of the components to be supplied are made from
sheet titanium alloys, with the majority formed by utilizing Aeromet's superplastic forming skills and chemical milling expertise.
