Morning, penni!

We need to study and learn from history, not constantly relive it.

Yes,... precisely... All things must go forward. The reason that we learn about the past, should (theoretically) help us to avoid making the same stupid blunders the second (or third, or forth,..) time around.

As for Ammo and the hurtful situation. Yes, it's important to learn to look at hurtful things as objectively as possible... not necessarily an easy thing to do. And, of course, there are "other" strategies that can be adopted... Such as drawing the face of someone who annoys you onto a tether ball and punching the shit out of it down in the basement where nobody can see you... or pasting a photo of his/her face onto a dart board and letting fly... hee hee... And, of course, then there is the internet where a creative person can find endless forms of "expression"... Just think of what fun Jonathan Swift would have had with a scanner, a couple of graphics programs, a website and a smattering of knowledge of HTML and FTP protocols??.. ;-}>

Gotta run...
