Pressure on Barrick
I am not sure if Barrick can follow Placer, I believe Barrick has forward sold 5 years at $350 to $360. If gold goes to $400, A HUGE LOSS TO BARRICK??

"and probably would only be made if the call comes in from Washington to do so, which would be further evidence of U.S. "officialdom" meddling in the gold price."

The usual nonsense from Murphy - Barrick will make a pragmatic decision, and, I agree there will be great pressure on them to change course.
