Stocks and shills aside, can anyone explain to me why SI is so painfully slow these days and seemingly getting worse by the day?

SI management claims it is because of SI Classic.

I believe it to be because of the ads.

Whatever the reason, SI is the slowest of all of the message boards I frequent.

When SI discontinues "classic", I will be spending a lot less time here anyhow.
