Internet infrastructure, yes.....real products, real growth and real profit. Unfortunatly it's priced in. CSCO, great company selling for 30 times revenue and 200 times profits.
Dale, the key does come down to finding a underfollowed or misunderstood company who might get noticed.....or perhaps getting a jump on the crowd by heading into a sector, before everyone else.
Admitedly a form of momentum investing.
In closure I simply feel the internet thing is overbought as a sector as are the mainstream telecoms (infrastructure plays).
I'm also a bit concerned about the overall valuation of the market (S&P 500 pe's running at a record high). With three rate increases under our belt with narry a effect on the rise of equities, I'm concerned what will happen when the prospect of economic slowdown, in the form of higher unemployment, lower profits and perhaps that dreaded correction.
