FIRE has powerfull customers and powerful growth.

thats pretty funny...according to FIRE's SEC S1 filing, their 9 month rev.'s ending 7/30/98 was 24M, the same as 99's!...so no, the rev's are not growing...their client list of app, blue shield and kla-tencor are decent but nothing spectacular...FIRE has a mkt. cap of 3.2B!...for instance, if they had rev's of 10M for the last qtr(a big if), they would have 1 yr rev's of 34M and would trade with a P/S--95!....as u can see, ur first point is debatable and ur second point is false.

lets look at one of their competitors RMKR(currently trading at 15 1/2), who is also in the CRM sector...this co. had rev's of 61M(up almost 50% from last yr) for 99' and trades with a P/S--9.5...their mkt cap is 580M!...their client list includes ibm, sunw, novell, puma and etc(much stronger than FIRE's imo).

what does this show?...that there are other factors at play here and that most of us do not understand the whole picture...but to not be surprised and not suspicious of FIRE's first day performance is walking on dangerous ground and also suggests proper DD was not done...jmo.

Dear Penny Stock,
If you are completely ignoring financial footprints and industry comparables, you are playing Russian Roulette.
They *absolutely* have a significant role in money flow and I assure you that institutional money always looks at comparables before they jump in.
