Claude, That is where i disagree. I believe the whole sector has been moving up and ETEK would have approached close to these levels even without the takeover. Just look at other companies in this sector, SDLI and ORTEL. Both have made huge moves and i feel ETEK would have done the same. For that reason, I feel the risk is worth taking. However, i would still would not put all my JDSU money into ETEK. 4/5 JDSU and 1/5 ETEK is probably not a bad way to play it. I am not talking about my entire portfolio; only what is set aside for JDSU.

Claude, I believe JDSU has put a price on ETEK's head, in that if the deal did not go through, perhaps the hit would not be as severe as one might think. There are other suitors such as GLW scrambling, to catch up to J!
