Personally I dislike the way Microsoft bundled their products and made it very difficult to circumvent solution
problems. I would also add that the prices of the various Linux securities are out of control and I would tread easy
until the road is a little more clear before plunking your cash on them.

intereting article, Linux is no way newbie-friendly, I'm a Systems Engineer and CNE and there's no way RedHat can run Xwindows on my Compaq Deskpro 4000 because I can't get XFree86 to run on my Video card - no drivers. I'll be on those web sites, looking for an answer besides changing hardware to match the software.... Seems like old times.
