Malcolm: Definition of "a Bull"

I suppose someone who plans to sell a stock after it has
reached 6 times its current value could be safely put in the "Bull", and not the "Bear" category! :-)

Hey, I'm there, too, although I'm not sure I'm selling at 800 (and that's just simply greedy and foolhardy!).

I'm having all of these visions about Softbank slyly buying up the internet economy and only announcing 1/10th of the purchases to keep attention away from what it's doing...

Malcolm,

The rules of universal popularity, especially with regard to brokers, seem to have been rolled back (but not repealed?) in at least one instance - Cisco. There may be others but can't think of one off the top of my head.

Then again maybe weird times are upon us when bulls (who buy stock on expectations that it will do well) deny they are bulls at all! Overall though, reverting to farmspeak, I think it's more sensible to buy into a 300-strong chicken farm with a statistically high probability that atleast a few will lay golden eggs, than buying one over-worked chicken that laid a couple of golden eggs, hoping and praying that it will lay one for breakfast and another for the commute home everyday into the distant future. After the hurricane hits, when it hits, the odds should remain about the same? Albeit, as they say, at lower levels....but thereby hangs another tale....
