Rick: I'm not worried at all. I'm relaxed about the whole turbulent market I foresee. I'm retired at an early age. I enjoy myself. I hold multiple thousands of shares each of QCOM, JDSU, and several other key tech stocks. I'm cool about the ups and downs of this seesaw turbulent market. I'm just giving the thread my investment opinions. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. I call them like I see them. If I'm wrong, I'll be the first one on this thread to announce I'M WRONG!!!! I'm not impressed with the market - it's too speculative. Great companies like QCOM will win out eventually - that's why I hold long-term. I believe very serious wealth will accrue to QCOM shareholders 5 years out, so I hold. That being said, Naz ain't going up 400 points every week. For those that think it can - well then we are in amateur hour and the pros will take the amateurs out behind the barn and teach them a thing or two. JMHO - that's all I've got. Everybody's got to do their thing. I'm starting to short certain overpriced and over-hyped stocks in here (not QCOM, JDSU, other optical stocks, networking or infrastructure). That would be suicide IMO. I'm also moving a lot of money into S. American and Indian internet plays. I could get burned on both my shorts and my foreign exposure. Time will tell. No one can predict the market - I'm not trying to - I'm staying focused on the bigger picture which is long-term. But I see some brutal down days/weeks - that's to be expected - isn't it? If I'm correct on that assumption, then QCOM ain't running away from here. This is accumulation time for those that missed last year's move. It is digestion time for those that caught last year's move. It's called consolidation - a very healthy thing long-term - is it not? Good luck. jmanvegas
