Ingram Micro Debuts Exclusive Web Site In Support Of Windows 2000 Launch;Company Offers 90-Day Free Windows 2000 Support To Customers

(NYSE: IM), the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products and services, today re-enforced its commitment to Microsoft Corp.'s Windows 2000 platform with the launch of an exclusive Web site for resellers selling Windows 2000. The site, located at www.ingrammicro.com/windows2000, further enhances the existing array of services offered by Ingram Micro in support of the product launch. In conjunction with Microsoft's efforts, Ingram Micro plans to begin global sales of Windows 2000 on Feb. 17, 2000.

Ingram Micro has a fully trained team of dedicated technical support staff, volume licensing specialists and telesales staff on hand to assist resellers. A team of 165 help-desk specialists with more than 3,500 hours of training on Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 third-party products will be available to assist with trouble shooting and areas such as product information, interoperability, compatibility and integration.

A Windows 2000 integration kit will also be mailed to resellers containing information on facilitating integration with third-party vendors and accessing all of the company's exclusive support options.
