hasn't it done so already(gone parabolic i mean)? anyway, the main problem as far as i understand it is how to best produce Hydrogen, of which there obviously is plenty...only it's rarely on it's own.
long term the technology has undoubtedly a great future, if recent reports about the longer term fundamental picture in crude oil prove to be correct. no wonder the utilities are going for this.
