OT: is anyone concerned by all the hype/bashing on the RB thread? it's been hard for me to filter out the factual/important information. this board seems much more grounded. i think i'll lurk around here for a while until i am satisfied enough to actually take the plunge with PRAV.

John, according to the recent PR by PRAV they have a contract with the Patent holder:

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2000--Paradigm Advanced Technologies Inc. (``Paradigm') (OTCBB:PRAV - news) CONFIRMED TODAY THAT IT HAS A CONTRACT WITH THE CURRENT PATENT HOLDER TO A BROAD-BASED PATENT TO BE THE EXCLUSIVE WORLDWIDE LICENSING AGENT FOR THE PATENT.
The Patent (US Patent No. 5,031,736) was granted in 1991 and was reexamined in 1994 (Reexamination Certificate No. B1 5,043,736). The patent covers the process whereby signals from the satellite global position system (``GPS') are transmitted over any cellular telephone network to a base unit. As a result of the reexamination the number of claims were increased from 4 to 6. The patent is valid until 2011?
