May not hit the first day. I will wait a day and see what happens. I bought puts instead of shorting. Limited downside.

Interesting indeed. While insiders may consider their stock undervalued, simple portfolio discipline might encourage them to unload some and buy something else to diversify. And the VC are looking to fund the NEXT really big IPO, and will take their post lockup profits no matter what they think of the value, because their charter pretty much requires it.

I didn't take a position for all my earlier bluster, as PCLN didn't spike enough to fill my order for puts before heading below 60. But I might try again soon. I'll certainly use it as a paper trading case study, if nothing else.

Anyhow, best of luck to all. Often longs and shorts with different investing time scales can get along just fine.
