Marcos, I don't own any ABX at this point in time. Nor am I here to defend them. Actually I'd be concerened about the alledged 500,000 naked calls they wrote. But I never looked into that, so will reframe from commenting. But, like NEM did, it is easier to buy spot gold to lock in the hedge. Or mark-to-market as they say. But I do think ABX is smart enough to realize that it is FAR to early to expect a rise in gold.
