Anothe factor separate from the lumen/watt ratio saving on the electricity bill that hasn't been considered is the longevity angle. Companies now pay more for long-life incandescent bulbs, especially for use in hard to reach places. If such incandescent bulbs last four-ten times longer(which is the claim), the cost of replacing them pays for the extra purchase price, since you don't have to pay a worker to go around replacing them. For a large factory/warehouse this is significant. If the LED lights would indeed last 5-10 years, they would be attractive to such companies from that angle, too.
