909Omen!! $$$'and a double Eagle on a techride!

Ok, it goes like this.

As a side hobby I do some technical writing for a cycling magazine in Canada. Some I guess I am a tech writer and rider :)

UNO - last week I was out on my techride testing a new road machine. Of course I am equiped with my emergency $5 and a quarter for food shelter and that one important phone call - you just never know. Half way in to the ride I spot a 5 spot on the road, blowing in the wind! grab, snag 909! weeeee. What about the quarter? Im only up 95.2380952 % really. Nope, found a stray homeless quarter just as i returned home! Pure 909 in only 3 hours!

DOS - the double Eagle techride.

Out the other day on another of the techrides and pass under a large willow near my home. Out of the corner of my eye I see a shadow that doesn't quite fit perched in the tree. As I look up I notice a large baldie staring back at me as I ride by. I stopped to admire the grace of the bird and was shocked to notice almost every one who passed under that same tree didn't even notice him up there! (or her) just doddled on without a clue. Omen? or SI analogy? Hmm maybe, but then again yesterday, another eagle in another tree and only about 50 meters from me! I was alone and it again watched me as I passed by.
Now, there may be ninehundredandnine ways to interpret this Omen but Im happy with the one I came up with.
Thanks Joana, thanks Blue.
