Re: KANA's acquisition of SILK

KANA

According to Prudential's valuation report on CMGI, CMGI owned 2.8M shares of SILK with an approximate basis of $2.42 ($6.776M cost basis)

The same report says SILK has 14.9M shares outstanding.

Net gain to CMGI is approx $782M, but will likely not be taxable or reflected in EPS if this is structured as a nontaxable stock for stock deal.

Some of you may see CMGI at 154 on Datek, it is wrong. The current bid is 117 3/4, I hope Datek gets sued over this. However, I believe CMGI will be there(154) soon! ATS

Amein, pre-opening NAZII generally doesn't mean anything because premarkets are so illiquid.

The size (say, 10 x 3) indicates 1,000 shares bid for at the quoted price and 300 shares offered at the quoted price.

The Naz II feature is generally useful to give you an indication of the depth of the market on the bid size and offer size, once the market is open, and who is bidding.

Perhaps this will help:
