DownSouth, Hi! Here's a note from "stockboyca" over on the TMF NTAP thread today:

"As part of my job, I design and implement computer networks. Anyway, I was talking to the NTAP sales rep in my area. Basically, after going through the real business of the call, I asked how their business was going. He said that they beat their sales goals for the last fiscal year (ends in April or July, I think). And their goals for the next year are double the last or around 1 billion. Basically, he said things are going gangbusters over there.

Its nice to hear people that actually work at the company says things couldn't be better. (this is all anecdotal, so take it for what its worth.)"

I think he meant to say that they met their sales goals for Q3. You don't think NTAP could have already beaten their sales goals for the entire year, do you?

Given that NTAP's goal is to double their sales goals every year (as we heard Dan say in the last CC) & IF the comment from the sales rep that NTAP "beat" their sales goals is accurate, I think the results next week should be north of $150 million in sales and $18.8 million in earnings ($0.12/share). The real question mark is the software sales. That should be a bonus hopefully.

Best,

Duncan
