GQ - Here in Beijing to see what's happening.
After only a few hours here it is quite clear that there are literally millions of potential internet and current internet users that a the moment have to be satisfied with a speed of what I estimate to be less than say 14Kbps. Very very slow. There is no AOL access number in China andI'm having to go through to AOL Hong Kong at 50c per minute.

They may get some improvment with cable or even ISDN but the numbers to be able to benefit by these improvements are tiny compared to even the existing market never mind the potential.

The quickest way that the Chinese market is going to get acceptable Internet speed is with wireless. And the quickest form of that will be cellular and so it is absolutely crystal clear here that when the Q gets the MSM 300 Kbps capable chip into the market it is going to take the most of the Chinese market. Period.

Never mind the MSM 5000 chipset products the earlier version will provide a much better service to internet users than anything most of the market can get comercially.

In a word it is so big as to be indescribable. The Q has one of the biggest business opportunities ever.

Best regards,

L
