If 0.74 shares of CORL will be swapped for every 1 of INPR
how is that tied to a specific transaction date ?

If CORL rallies the valuation of INPR will rise, conversely if CORL tanks INPR gets slammed as well.

Is the percentage set or the dollar amount of the deal ?

both companies do not fell they have any competitors in the lInux market since it is such a big future potential they can work with everyone else linke RHAT windows unix java etc.

They see incremental growth from Kylix added to the 20 to 30 million Linux projection for 2000.

Dale Fuller said, when asked, that ORCL can be considered a competitor in the tools area but that ORCL is a borland OEM tools developer.

Dale Fuller was ask if this was the reason he was brought on at Inprise to sell the company to Corel. He said no he was brought there to clean house and make the company more profitable and increase the stock value. To his credit he said the stock was at $2 a share when he started and his contract ended on Oct 30th but he decided to stay on because he fell in love with what they are doing.
