I obtained a copy of the Merrill Lynch report. It is an Opinion Change from intermediate accumulate to intermediate buy. They maintain their long term accumulate rating. The Opinion Change was prompted by the fact that other LVAD companies have appreciated in price in the last month, not because of any material change at World Heart. I reiterate my opinion - wait till the company provides an update on the calf trials to buy. You should be able to get in cheaper than at current prices.
