The conclusion I reached was that Dell is busy and growing fast.
Add together the new Brazil plant at 500 plus, the 3300 new at Nashville by the middle of the year in lieu of the 1000 promised,
the new plant in Ireland with a doubling of employees in a bit more
than a year and the fact they are running two shifts in Austin.
Computer business is healthy and Dell has orders for product, else why hire those people in Nashville at this time rather than wait.??
Estimated sales per Dell employee in the past has been $750K to $1mm. 30% + growth in sales should be no problem.
If the market doesn't like Dells Feb report, I may try to buy May calls for cheap. The market does not like uncertainty, which we surely have at this time, so Dell stock is probably at a low but I am just sitting on it now and playing with others which appear to have greater ST potential.
