I believe the media is responding to the fact that McCain, a man expected to LOSE New Hampshire, not only won, but won by a HUGE margin over the annointed frontrunner.

The question the media is addressing is, "why?"

My answer to that is " Rush Limbaugh, and the Republican beltway media club"
For 2 years prior to the start of campaign 2000, we heard the MEDIA rumors of Texas Governor George W. Bush's possible run for the White House. Would he or wouldn't he, only the attorneys in Austin and his hair dresser knew for sure.
{Could we now have a Republican "Kennedy" Family? Look we have George the senior ex pres, brother Jeb ,gov of Florida and G.W. governing YeeHaw, Texas.... Could this be a dynasty?}
Twas a good thought, lets run G.W. ..
Then the money starts to roll in to a guy who's only achievement was owning part of a baseball team. And in Texas... Money,Oil and your daddy's name can get you a long way....... Even without experience.
However,in a national election,
YOU Have to be able to SPEAK!.....
