Earnings will be a weathervane.

If the fourth quarter shows a profit, it will indicate IMHO that resumed growth can be supported by the base. At that point, the lower construction costs of the new restaurants should permit more rapid profitability. Depreciation and expenses for construction will likely keep SLVR in the red during 2000, but 2001 may be the turning point.

I recently tried twice to buy a fairly large amount of SLVR at 1, without success. This says to me that the float at the trading range is small.

Until the business model can show a clear upward trend, none of the professionals will buy, because the stock price is too low for most mutual funds. If the directors will keep overhead costs within reason, the stock may move up sometime next year and catch the attention of the market.
