Hey guys,

Sorry for my absence -- business travel and all.

Man, it was a great series. Although Cayard made some huge mistakes, I think all in all he did pretty well against very tough competition. Prada had all the resources, but also did a very good job on the sailing end. I hope they take it to the kiwis in the final.

In think Cayard's comment about splitting US resources will have some resonance. The next time around, I suspect we'll have two main syndicates -- one for each coast. Presumably Cayard and St. Francis will be back, as will New York. The problem is that neither will likely back Dennis, so if there is a third, TDC will likely be it. Then again, so many egos...

Anyone making odds on the final? I say Prada, 5-3.
