Hi Leroy, it appears the acquisition is moving forward. HSR waiting period passed last week. I can see no reasons why WSTL A shares will not vote in favor of the merger. WSTL B shares (Simon & Penney Trust) are ready to vote in sympathy with the WSTL A shares, although they do have the ability to override. I would have to think the WSTL BOD checked with the trust before announcing the merger. Both WSTL and TLTN BOD's recommend a vote for the merger. I imagine TLTN shareholders will vote for it, lest their shares head back to the $20's (TLTN is a good solid company, but no longer is targeting a high growth market). WSTL can certainly use the TLTN manufacturing capacity and greater combined efficiencies to leverage ADSL growth moving forward.

As far as the spread goes, it did widen to 15% today. Buying TLTN at $64 is the same as buying WSTL for $19.39 based on today's closing price. Maybe folks saw the WSTL news and just bought it, unaware of the 3.3 WSTL/TLTN ratio.

I have every confidence the merger will be completed, hence I've been accumulating TLTN stock and WSTL calls.

Regards,
Gary Smith
