Last I heard was sometime around the end of last year, when he called in to the CNBC morning show from somewhere in the former Soviet Union.

As already stated, his exploits are told once per month in Worth magazine. It's definitely "worth" reading. His observations around the world are extremely interesting. Not always good investment advice, but his travels are very informative.
