There are many microfluidics approaches to HTS. In this instance, I feel that it was wise to pass on further support ($$$ burn) which would command the exclusive license. One needs access to microfluidics in combination with a proprietary assay method, but not certain that one needs to have exclusive access.

That would be a very highly personal call.

Hard to say.... depends largely on whether or not Axiom can use the technology? If you're just beginning your studies, Axiom is a HTS company in San Diego, and KDUS owns a big chunk of it.

Living Chip is at the bottom of my list of KDUS-related interests.
