My sympathies Sarkie. I've just been through this same thing myself. Reformat was the final result. There is a class action suit for 8 Billion filed in Virginia.

are you using the byoa (bring your own access) program aol offers, where you connect through another isp?

if you connect through aol, then open whatever web browser you want, do you still experience probs?

suggest you read more on that link i sent you, about aolhell. i won't let anyone i know even go near 5.0 now.

i think what you have described is your only recourse, based on what i read.
