I heard that in the summer of 1998 and the summer of 1999, and watched the subsequently bear market rallies fail. I just look at the charts and they are still saying "sideways"

Do you think that is a good question to ask someone with over 30 years of historical data on their PC ? The last time platiunm and gold were close was December 9, 1996, when gold was 367.85 and platinum was $370.20. The last time platinum was cheaper than gold was Janaury 31, 1994 when gold was $382.60 and platinum was $379.90.
