A woman who calls herself a countess and is known in Arabian Horse circles as the 'Purple Lady' was sentenced Tuesday to two years' probation for fraud and forgery by Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Stephen Gerst.

Countess Du Monet, who changed her name from Loretta Keller, was found guilty of using disappearing ink to forge signatures on power-of-attorney forms and other documents to legally transfer vintage Rolls-Royces and other vehicles to her fictitious companies.
