"any thoughts on why "Q" is selling off while it's main competitors MOT, NOKIA and ERICSson are at all time highs ?"

IMO we're still carrying the burden of the "slump" word.

Hi Bill,

askresearch.com

Basing, technical dumping, digesting last year's gain,....?

Observe progressively light volume during this downdraft however. Note the increased volume prior to Q's last upside gap. Required gap closing prior to the next projectile?

Good luck, Bill.

Re : QCOM (lately) trading worse than MOT, NOK, ERICY. I think it is just "human nature" at work amongst investors.

People just cannot believe how excellent Qualcomm is.

How can one company do so many things so well, while other companies in the same business do not ?

So, people chase the stocks of the other companies, until fundamental developments at Qualcomm just blow away peoples' (temporary) cooling of feeling : Go Qualcomm !

I would guess we will be back to "holy ****" (in a good way) regarding Qualcomm before the end of 2000.

Too much good stuff should come out before then.

Jon.
