I use InvestorLine on-line and get fast executions (under 30 seconds) once order is placed. You must mean once the order becomes an open order. Given the stupid Canadian rule about every order having to be viewed by a human, 30 seconds is hard to achieve in this country. There's a big difference. I use Action Direct and, indeed, the execution is fast ONCE it's on open (marketable) order. Trouble is the order can be (and often is) sitting in "Pending" status for 20 minutes or more. Piper
