The Mayo clinic did the study...actual invasive fungal sinusitis is really rare and shows up on catscan...but lots of people have allergies to molds/fungus and everybody has some in their system, so giving repeated antibiotics doesn't help. You can try a trial of an antifungal and see if you get better. Doc could prescribe Diflucan for instance.
