<<Sounds like Gates is starting to play with the concept of "social engineering"; a characteristic of a Socialist mind not a Capitalist one. I thought Conservatives frowned on gambling and yet here is Bill vying for control of something called the "People's Lottery".

What next, the "People's Car"? Maybe he can decide what automobile is best for me too.>>

Gee, Norm, are you going for the Guinness world record in non sequiturs? I think you've got a shot.

First, real socialists only social engineer things with other peoples money, not their own. I'm sure that Bill's and my taxes are already paying for a lot of social engineering like the mohair and tapioca subsidies and Midnight Basketball. His foundation is giving the money away so the Feds cannot use his own money against him.

Second, the People's car (Volkswagen) was tried already by that benevolent Nazional Socialist engineer, der Fuerher. But, even he didn't give them away.

Ciao,
Daniel
