Sonki. I don't think the new SI is actually slow. It's just diff. I guess once we get used to it, it will be alright. They seem to be making more and more adjustments. It does look a bit like the Yahoo site. SI keeps saying that the new SI is more efficient. Some, that already use it, may think so, I don't. The old SI is slated to go off this week, anywhere from today on. Just click on to the new SI and check things out. If I can get the hang of it, I am sure that you will. And we can help each other out here. There is actually a thread for questions on this new SI. I will post the link to that site after I am done with this. So check this post again if it's not on by the time you read this. I just thought about that link and don't have it in my mouse yet. Here it is.Subject 31837 About WCOM. I wrote to Bill H. that SSB came out again with their very strong buy on WCOM. You probably did not read my post to Bill so I will repeat myself. SSB called WCOM a great play with so many sexy holdings all over the world. You know that UUNET/WCOM gets more business again from Ford supplying their employees with cpts. UUNET gets those good ole fees from this internet use. I had posted many times that WCOM got sold off by rumors, worry about losing AOL's business because of the TWX deal and of course this merger with Sprint seems to be going on forever. But now it looks like the decision will come down by mid year and the merger should then be completed not too long there after. SSB has this price target of 87 but if nothing unforeseen happens, I can't see why it will not go a lot higher, especially once the merger is completed. I am pretty sure that the drug sector is not picking up because of worries what will happen. Nothing was said this time around about drugs in Pres.Clintons yearly State of the Union speech, but I guess nobody is convinced that nothing will come down on the drug cos. I guess you heard about this 1.8 trill budget plan. It includes prescription drugs and those cos. may be worried about being hit with cheaper prices. If you can't recoup your costs, well you know that story. We went through it once before. And now Mrs. health care is running for Senator and that may not bode well for those cos. either in some investors mind. The bio techs are doing great. I am not playing this game though. BTW. I sold the rest of my WLA today. This merger should be good. But I have to see what gives. I don't like that 1.8 bill. payment to AHP. Sheesh. That company is making out great by being engaged so often but never getting married. gg. I will probably go back in when all that smoke clears and I can see forever and ever. gg. Kidding aside. This merger should be great for PFE and WLA. Lipitor is going to be BIG. It will be making its debut in China soon. I think I got this right. Anyhow. It looks good and I probably jumped the gun by selling but I reduced my margin more. Not a bad thing. I am trying to get rid of it altogether one of these days. Maybe we should buy AHP. Someone will take this company to the altar one of these days. But oh, that law suit. Let us know when you are on the new SI. Read Ann's post to me from earlier today. She answered some of my new SI questions. You may benefit also. I could not make heads and tails out of this trash bin stuff orig. I thought it got rid of all the things I put into that. That's what happens to my trash in my house. gg. Sonny
