McCain didn't do enough for you? Coming within a hair's breadth of death many times, and then finally having your battered and broken body dragged through the jungle is insufficient to gain your awe and respect? You think they had dangers like that in the Rich Mens' Sons Division of The Texas National Guard unit in which GWB was hidden during the War? (Oh, that's right, the Dem Speaker of Texas House pulled a few strings to get him in there for no particular reason. Guess he just took a liking to the boy).

MCain is a smart man, and he got those votes last week because he speaks his mind and has sound ideas--he is mainstream, without being extreme. He is the American son to whom nothing was handed--he is an "unpolitician", not afraid to offend where his principles are involved, and he regularly offends Washington insiders. He is accused of having a "bad temper" because he actually passionately cares about this country, and doesn't need opinion polls to tell him what he believes.

The President must lead, and instill pride in America. McCain can do this--makes him more qualified than anyone else in the race.
