SBUX is doing well because I'm long SBUX, that's why. Because their CEO is a looney whose brilliant vision foresaw the importance of the internet to selling overpriced coffee to yuppie scum. So, quite logically, the street wrote him off as the madman he is and his stock went to hell in a handbasket, becoming a fine value play. After all, with this wealth effect, we're creating more yuppie scum latte addicts every day who are willing to pay anything for overpriced coffee. Same-store sales goin' up steady and it's never gonna end. What I can't figure out is BRK.A. --QS
