Ike, it really does look like ye olde bubble still has some life left in it. i agree of course with the IPO (tm) way of investing in the current climate. i'm not terribly concerned about the PoG pullback...as mentioned before, an atmosphere of uncertainty is actually in our best long term interest.
re: GOLD, it's PoG gearing is so big that it's profits will double at $290/oz., triple at $300/oz, quadruple at $310/oz. etc.
all the marginal producers of South Africa have similar characteristics. therefore, as long as the SA miners continue to outperform and hold well above their lows, the theory that a new bull market in gold has begun remains intact.
