I agree , these delays are a pain in the butt that could be easily corrected with systems checks. I've been complaining for months at CT market partner. They tell me its worse at TD waterhouse, but that doesn't solve my problem. Especially now that CT market partner will be merged with TD waterhouse. I got so frustrated at the delays in November that I opened an account in the US for my US trades. At least for those trades I get point and click execution (within seconds- even on limit orders) and less expensive commissions plus volume discounts.

Unfortunately most of my investment capital is still in Canada (SD-RRSP's).
Is Schwab that much better? Because If TD waterhouse is what I have to look forward too and it isn't any better than what I've got now, I will move my accounts. N.C.

Hello all.

Well I for one have had it with those clowns at TD and their
pathetic service. 20 minutes to get an order executed. What a F$#^'n joke. They've been telling us for 1 1/2 years now that the problem is volume.
A year and a half is ample time to deal with any problem.I've got
the wheels in motion to transfer my funds to Schwab. I also sent
TD a nice long nasty e-mail. I suspect that was probably a waste of time, but figured I shouldn't do the Canadian thing and just run away from the big bully at TD. Maybe we need to start a e-mail bombardment
campaign. It might catch someones attention.

Next problem that I have to deal with is CSW. Things have not got
any better with their real time feed/market depth discrepancies.
Back in Dec. Gerry told The Chief that if the problem persisted
they would switch to an alternative available to them.
I've been watching very closely, and nothing has changed. One can
not rely on MD/RT for the first 15-20 minutes. And on top of that,
it's been crashing far more regularily. 2-3 a week for up to 3 hours at a time. Not acceptable for the money we are paying them. Last time
I looked, I was billed the full amount, but have yet to get a full
months service.

TD and CSW, if your out there. I'm not just venting here.
I've had as much as I can take of this "SERVICE"!!!!

Regards
BR
