HELLO KAP! Congrats on AMD's 1.1GHz DEMO.

To clarify my position yet one more time, I believe the race to 1GHz is going to be extremely close. AMD might win. Intel might win. It is still to close to call. WC for Intel is in single digit weeks. BC for Intel is they win. The converse is IMO true for AMD. What would screw it up for either side is a miscue.

I've posted the above position several times now, going back well into last year.

I believe I originally posted the "see you on the other side" comment way back last year when everybody and there brother were saying there was no way that the PIII would ever scale to 1GHz.
