We can all say a prayer for her and your family. I tell my small children everyday there are no monsters. No hairy, sharp toothed monsters, or green monsters. But...then I say There are real monsters! People who look like everyone we know. They can look and act nice. So we must always be careful. That was a monster who did that. A real one. John: OT I don't know you of course, but your wife's grandmother's horrible ordeal really hit home with me. I lived in Houston myself for a long time. I lost my parents and grandparents and miss them so much. I can imagine how you feel about this awful incident. Thank God she is going to survive and hopefully with her spirit intact. I send her and your family my best wishes and prayers for her complete recovery. Kerry

You can respond to all posts. . .unless we are in stealth mode on a particular sensitive issue, but I don't anticipate doing so publicly anymore. . . too many pirates out there. To all: Yes, pump and dump [or bash and cash] by individuals is a securities violation. However, pump and dump [or bash and cash] by a brokerage house is merely business-as-usual. It is done so often that the SEC turns a blind eye, IMO. It is still against the law. . . but you would never know it, as often as it occurs. . . .sort of like that Sopranos episode where the SEC Codes & Rules Enforcer/whatever has an office in the boiler room brokerage house. . . and it turns out that he is the most corrupt of them all. [Sidebar: The Sopranos is a disturbing, absolutely realistic, TV show on HBO which peers into the personal and professional lives of a mob boss's family. . .as though you knew them and cared for them. . . some of the best television ever made. . .and "WORTH THE PRICE OF HBO!" . . to those with a strong stomach for violence, due to the window to the criminal psyche . . . "what we know will keep us safe". . . the show reminds me of the way things were when I was a kid. . . . I thought nearly the whole world was controlled by the mob. . . . certainly every dollar I made while living in Ohio came from mob hands [directly or indirectly]. . . that was just the way it was . . they controlled everything. . and especially the entertainment biz. . . . . one day I show up at the nightclub where my band had a long standing engagement. . . and several of the waitresses were crying. . .turns out the owner and his buddies [the regulars] were popped by the FBI for trying to hijack an armored car. . . life went on and that place never stopped rocking. . . .just the way it was back there and back then . . .I know many people from those times that were taken out but never returned. . . . meanwhile, "The Sopranos" will continue to win every TV award there is, until someone comes along and knocks them off.] Great trading on LPTHA. . . turning it into shares of the leaders. . . that's what it is all about.
