In that context, I think you are right. Mention was made but it recieved little attention. I do remember however one analyst being quoted in an article regarding the GTW
warning 'y2k? Where did that come from? They never said
anything about that before.' Maybe he missed it if it was
floated out by GTW in the latter part of 99'.

I saw someone mention GTW issuing cautionary statements earlier in the Q but haven't seen it myself. I did see IBM's.

Either way, not so much of a peep came out of the Dell camp.
'y2k not an issue' was all we heard.
