I for one am not amused. I am looking for companies that have solid, professional leadership. INPR was moving in the right direction. I do not find it comforting that the new CEO of INPR (A division of CORL) is busy peddling semi-porn of his silicon-pumped Tammy-Faye clone. Such arrogant, testosterone driven, self-serving sexist crap has no place in a professional services company and I see him as a tremendous liability to the future of INPR. He has zero credibility in the enterprise markets that INPR is developing. CORL is a provider of second-rate desktop software. THey have had multiple years of failed business plans. It is only a little recent irrational LINUX-driven hype that has saved them from the well-deserved trash heap of hi-tech losers.

THere is nothing remarkable about COREL, and there is every reason to believe that they will fail just as miserably in the Linux market. Does anybody really expect WordPerfect and Corel Draw to be leaders in any market. The Linux appeal is based on innovation and technical leadership. Neither of which are used when describing COREL (excpet when discussing what they are lacking).

That is what bothers me. INPR is a good company with problems. CORL is crap, and Cowpland is an ego-driven loser. This is a rotten deal for INPR share holders. I will not hold shares ina company that is being run by Cowpland. I will hold my INPR shares long enough to vote no on this deal. If they get him out then I may reconsider.
