Hello Eliz. When did you sell WLA? I had mine for a long time but decided to sell part of my position when WLA decided to make a deal with AHP. I did not like that deal with AHP being involved in this medical suit. I guess you read that I sold the rest of my position yesterday. WLA, PFE and AHP are all up today. gg. No big deal. I needed to come down with my margin anyhow. I told Sonki that I am pretty sure that this merger between WLA and PFE will be good for both cos. Like you I am holding on to most of my techs and some of the better internets. It looks like all the techs are up today excluding Dell. Sheesh. I had thought of selling that when they lowered estimates. I didn't and it is down 2 today to around 35. It makes you wonder how low it can go with those lower earnings. After all, it is still one of the top PC cos. I guess it would have been better to sell at 39 the other day and invest the proceeds into HWP. Oh well. I still have a nice profit but it has been a dog for some time now. Even Intel has come out of its slump some time ago. Maybe Dell will follow soon. Ooops. I just now heard that Dell got a downgrade from Warburg, Dillon and Reed. How wonderful. A little late. They wait just until before earnings are due. I guess it's not wonderful, more like sickening.

AOL is doing a bit better today. One of these days that will move again. Europe seems to be working for AOL.

I guess I'd better get off here and check on Dell. Late last year I had decided to sell my positions in stocks when they lower earnings for sev. qtrs to come. That's how LU went on the block even though LU's stock price is doing well. It looks like I sold the wrong one. Dell was the one. gg. Chip sales are up pretty big so you would think that PC sales are up also and that should be good for Dell. Do you own Dell?

Congrats on your new grandsons.

Good buy on Ariba. Don't know much about Icom.

Yeah. I guess I will be getting used to the new SI. I am still using the old one but am set up for the new SI.

Great market so far. About your rule of selling some when it doubles. I did this for a while. Right now I am letting the winners run as long as it looks alright. Some have more than doubled. My best investment since middle of 98. RRRR. I think that one is almost a 20bagger. Sometimes when it goes down I get a bit antsy. gg.

Sonny

PS. I guess this is the noise the attendants and the Pilots heard:

Remind me to check before I fly about what plane it is. Sheesh. How many emergency landings do they have lately? How many did they have before this deadly accident happened? I thought Alaska Air was so safe.
