Keith - thanks for mentioning what I also felt to be the most important feature going forward. You will use it at home first, take it on the road as Internet/telephone, wait probably not a year and take it on exotic travels (what I am anxiously awaiting), for Internet/real time video and audio. Will we get any of this in 2002 - perhaps, and who will then care about video phone screen/character limitations. It seems to me that the technology has always been aimed for the one appliance do everything everywhere connection, and just a little patience will get us there. Best, John

another Tom Galvin interview on CNBC

we have finished only the first year of a multi-year global profit growth recovery [following the Asian Meltdown]

the Federal Reserve has it wrong
forces of deflation are still with us (excess capacity, deregulation, internet)
their rate hikes are pre-emptive with no inflation in sight

TBonds should see yields peak in this current Q1
expect more mergers in financial arena, since Glass Steigman repeal

he likes the telecom and media broadcasting sectors

picks:
AirGate PCS (PCSA) fast growing wireless carrier
Andocs (DOX) didnt catch their business
CommerceOne (CMRC) not cheap but way early in growth

this guy sees endofyr NazComp at 7000, Dow at 16,000
