What the market gives us today and tomorrow might be taken away on Friday when we get the Retail Sales for Jan. <gg> Clearly the Fed is focused on demand And the Republicans want to give us more money to spend in the form of big tax cuts!!! <ggg> Certainly don't mind a tax break but seems like that's pouring kerosene on the flames. <gg>

The Committee remains concerned that over time increases in demand will continue to exceed the growth in potential supply, even after taking account of the pronounced rise in productivity growth. Such trends could foster inflationary imbalances that would undermine the economy's record economic expansion.
