Hello Edamo,

While everyone wants to argue, Rome burns <ggg>. Is that Dell I see crashing thru 36, now trading at 35 1/2??? Delayed reaction to the warning, or more news the street did not like at the conference??

Best regards,
John

Hi edamo. I knew you'd pounce all over that one!

Anyway, you have been proven correct in some of your assertions over the last year. Good call.

I believe our disagreements were limited to the timing
of delivering artsy PC's and perceptions. My stance on
perceptions was that 'performance' would ultimately outweigh
short term spin doctoring in the long run.

Unfortunately at this juncture, poor performance and a semi-disasterous product transition is having the largest impact on the stock. But as you pointed out on numerous occasions, the non-existent PR machine and the conspicuous absence of MD has now helped to put extra downward pressure on the stock price. No attempt at damage control
whatsoever.

MD not appearing on CNBC to face the firing squad the morning after the warning was in bad form IMO.

The next few Q's should be interesting.
