God had to harden Pharaohs heart because he would have caved in and let the people go if not.. The judgements were enough to cause anyone to let God's people go in and of themselves never mind all of them together. Which was in fact the last judgement the death of all the firstborn?? Or the fact that Israel Borrowed ( stole ??? ) a massive amount of Gold that would never be returned.. or when God once more hardened Pharoah's heart and caused him to yet chase them after he had finally let them go only to utterly destroy all of Egypt's Armed Forces in the sea??? Financially , militarily, and psychologically finished... That is not God showing Egypt love Steve. I am amazed that you cannot see such an obvious fact of God's works upon the son's of men but that is the mystery of this modern day heresy called FREE WILL. How anyone could read the Bible and yet believe the thoughts of their own head ! Psalms 50:21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Proverbs 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Exodus 9:14 For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth. 15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. 16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. Romans 9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
